Mining Giants Partner Up In Search Of American Copper

BHP (NYSE:BHP) and Ivanhoe Electric (NYSE:IE) have announced a new joint venture partnership focused on finding new copper deposits in the United States. Copper is one of the most important metals for the energy transition and the global push for electrification, however there is a lack of large scale copper mines currently in production.

Compass Pathways (NASDAQ:CMPS) has announced early clinical validation for their novel synthetic psilocybin compound COMP360 in reducing symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Initial results of the clinical trial suggest 20-30% of patients saw a meaningful reduction in symptoms associated with PTSD after a single dose of the drug.

Cargill Is Getting In On Cocoa-Free Chocolate

Voyage Foods recently signed an exclusive distribution deal with food conglomerate Cargill, the largest privately held company in the US, to provide their climate friendly food ingredients to be used by their subsidiaries and brands. Voyage Foods produces bean-free coffee, cocoa-free chocolate and peanut-free spreads, and just raised $52 million in a Series A financing round.
