Gates And Bezos Are Using Machine Learning To Find Copper In Zambia
KoBold Metals, a private company backed by Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Jeff Bezos, has entered a joint venture with Canadian public company Midnight Sun Metals to explore for copper. Leveraging their machine learning, artificial intelligence and data analysis, KoBold is looking to precisely identify where large deposits of battery metals may exist on over 100 kilometres of the company’s Zambia property.
Intuitive Machines Is Headed For The Moon
Intuitive Machines (NASDAQ:LUNR) has successfully completed the launch of their IM-1 mission, becoming the first US-based spacecraft to land on the moon in over 50 years. The launch was done in collaboration with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and included funding from NASA.

K2 Space is building large satellite buses that are capable of delivering heavy payloads into orbit at a cost of approximately $15 million each, which is significantly less than other currently available options in the industry. The company’s large satellite buses can deliver up to 1 ton of weight into space and they are currently prototyping a new satellite bus that they believe will be able to carry up to 15 tons.
