Samsung Is Betting On A Startup Building AI Chips For Drones and Robots

Axelera has raised $68 million in a new Series B financing round led by Samsung Catalyst, the venture capital arm of of semiconductor giant Samsung Electronics. Axelera has developed a leading edge artificial intelligence processing unit that allows hardware like drones and robots to run artificial intelligence models without being connected to the cloud.
