Billions For Lithium Production In America

The United States Department of Energy has committed to loaning Lithium Americas (NYSE:LAC) $2.26 billion to finance the construction of new production facilities in Nevada, marking the largest loan ever granted by the government agency to a single mining company. Once fully constructed and operational, the Lithium Americas Thucker Pass mine in Nevada could become the single largest source of lithium production in all of North America.

Mercedes-Benz Is Hiring Humanoid Robots

Mercedes-Benz unveiled a new partnership with Apptronik, a robotics startup whose flagship humanoid robot named Apollo will soon be assisting with the manufacturing and production of new automobiles. Advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning technology have been accelerating the potential of humanoid robots. Amazon and BMW have recently announced similar humanoid robot applications at their facilities.
