The Department of War Is Funding Amprius Technologies For Drone Batteries
The United States Department of War has awarded a new grant worth up to $75 million to Amprius Technologies (NYSE: AMPX) for drone battery cell production. Amprius plans to convert an electric vehicle battery line located in the United States into a drone battery cell production line, and has publicly stated they are aiming to have production capacity of 12 million drone battery cells annually within two years.
Voyager Technologies and Anduril Form Strategic Partnership For Advanced Weapons
Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) and Anduril formed a new partnership focused on accelerating the development, testing and production of critical technologies for advanced weapon systems and missile defense. Voyager has publicly stated that they are contracted to supply more than $60 million of technology for Anduril’s weapons programs, including solid rocket motors and divert and altitude control systems.
Rank One Computing Wins Department of Justice Contract
Rank One Computing (NASDAQ: ROC) won a new contract from the United States Department of Justice for up to $64.3 million to build and support a technology platform for reviewing digital evidence. The United States Department of Justice has committed roughly $7 million for the first year of their deal with Rank One Computing and has optional one-year extensions over the next seven years.
