Venture Capital Is Coming For Rare Earth Magnets

Vulcan Elements, an American rare earth magnet producer, raised $65 millon in a new Series A financing round led by prominent Silicon Valley investment company Altimeter Capital Management, which is founded and run by Brad Gerstner. Vulcan Elements is one of the only private rare earth companies in America that has existing contracts with the United States Navy, Army and Air Force.

Ondas Holdings (NASDAQ: ONDS) made a strategic investment into European defense company Rift Dynamics, giving Ondas exclusive distribution rights in the United States of Rift Dynamics’ Wasp drone which has advanced artificial intelligence technology and swarm control capabilities for combat.

ALT5 Sigma Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTS) entered into a definitive agreement to raise $1.5 billion for the sole purpose of acquiring World Liberty Financial tokens to hold directly as an asset. World Liberty Financial is co-founded by the Trump family and previously made major waves when they raised $550 million through token sales. Zach Witkoff will become Chairman of ALT5 Sigma Corporation following the capital raise and Eric Trump will officially join the board of directors.
