The Elmet Group Lands Department of War Strategic Investment For Domestic Tungsten

The Elmet Group (NASDAQ: ELMT) landed a strategic investment from the United States Department of War for $450 million, marking the single largest equity investment the DoW has ever made in a publicly traded company focused on tungsten. The Elmet Group has publicly stated they will use the new funding to expand their production capacity for tungsten at their plants in Maine, Michigan and Ohio as well as to fund a joint venture with Blue Moon Metals (NASDAQ: BMM) and EQ Resources.

The Success Of GLP-1s Could Cause A Boom In Medical Aesthetics Next

Multiple private and public companies have been investing in clinical research and new product development targeting the aesthetic effects caused by GLP-1 induced rapid weight loss. Conexeu Sciences (NASDAQ: CNXU) is one of the few public companies pursuing the space, and has publicly stated they are aiming to position their proprietary CXU platform for medical aesthetics and facial and body tissue restoration.

Agility Robotics Unveils New Humanoid Robot

Agility Robotics, which is currently in the process of completing a SPAC transaction with Churchill Capital Corp XI (NASDAQ: CCXI), unveiled their new humanoid robot known as Digit 5. Digit 5 is designed to work directly alongside human beings and is capable of lifting 50 pounds and supporting 20-hour operational days in complex work environments.

IBM (NYSE: IBM) formally requested approval from the Dutchess County Industrial Development Agency for a 30 year payment-in-lieu-of-taxes deals to advance their $2.5 billion quantum computing facility in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Generation Mining (TSX: GENM) successfully landed $340 million to complete the fully financed construction package for their Marathon Copper-Palladium Project located in Ontario, Canada.
Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB) successfully raised $1.9 billion through an At-The-Market equity program, fully financing the cash portion of their Iridium Communications (NASDAQ: IRDM) acquisition.
Einride (NASDAQ: ENRD) began operating an electric cab-less vehicle with no driver or safety operator on board in Germany.
