Anthropic and AMD Partner On New Mega Deal For GPUs

AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) and Anthropic entered into a new deal in which Anthropic will deploy up to 2 gigawatts of AMD’s newest artificial intelligence chips. This is the single largest commitment Anthropic has ever made to using AMD’s artificial intelligence chips and GPUs, and AMD publicly stated they will invest up to $5 billion into Anthropic as part of the new deal.

Virgin Atlantic and Joby Aviation Cut Electric Air Taxi Deal In The United Kingdom

Joby Aviation (NYSE: JOBY) and Virgin Atlantic entered into a definitive agreement to launch Joby Aviation’s electric air taxi service in the United Kingdom. The new partnership will allow Virgin Atlantic to offer Joby Aviation’s electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft to Virgin Atlantic’s customers connecting to and from London Heathrow and Manchester airports.

FTAI Aviation’s Joint Venture Wins $1.46 Billion Order For Gas Turbines

FTAI Aviation (NASDAQ: FTAI) and Chinese energy equipment company Jereh Group’s joint venture won a new $1.46 billion purchase order for their gas turbines from a leading cloud company. FTAI Aviation previously made major waves on Wall Street when they launched a new division known as FTAI Power to supply data centres with gas turbines for artificial intelligence workloads and high performance computing.
