A New High Performance Computing Deal In Iceland

Bit Digital (NASDAQ: BTBT) announced they have secured a new deal for high performance computing with DNA AI Compute Fund, which will use 576 Nvidia H100 GPUs as well as 72 Nvidia H200 servers that will be deployed in a data centre in Iceland. Bit Digital has been making a push into high performance computing recently, acquiring a new data centre located in Quebec, Canada which has the potential to be developed into a 5 megawatt operation powered entirely by renewable hydroelectricity.

There’s A New Breakthrough For Scaling Quantum Computing

IonQ (NYSE: IONQ) and Oak Ridge National Laboratory announced a new breakthrough in quantum computing focused on a novel method for scaling the technology. The breakthrough leverages IonQ’s trapped-ion technology to develop an entirely new method known as Quantum Imaginary Time Evolution.

Hyperliquid Has Officially Launched Staking

Hyperliquid, one of the fastest growing layer 1 blockchains in all of crypto, has officially launched staking on their mainnet for the first time ever. Hyperliquid notably did not raise any funding whatsoever from venture capitalists or angel investors and also successfully pulled off one of the most innovative airdrops in crypto by distributing roughly a third of the entire token supply to their early users.
