The Pentagon issued a new memo signed by United States Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth titled Unleashing U.S. Military Drone Dominance that is bringing sweeping changes to the federal government’s plan for accelerating drone innovation and purchasing drones for military purposes. The new memo is largely focused on prioritizing purchasing drones that are made within the USA.

The U.S. Department of Defense Is Investing In a Publicly Traded Rare Earth Company
MP Materials (NYSE: MP) landed a $400 million strategic investment from the United States Department of Defense that will give them an equity stake of up to 15% of the entire company. This is the first time in American history that the United States Department of Defense has ever taken an equity position in a publicly traded rare earth company, highlighting the strategic importance of securing rare earth supply.

DeFi Development Corp Becomes Largest Solana Holder On Wall Street
DeFi Development Corp (NASDAQ: DFDV) acquired an additional 153,225 Solana tokens to hold directly as an asset, bringing their total holdings to 846,630 Solana tokens and positioning them as the largest publicly traded holder of the popular cryptocurrency.
