Amazon and Constellation Energy Strike 690 Megawatt Nuclear Power Deal
Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) entered into a 20 year power purchase agreement with Constellation Energy (NASDAQ: CEG) to buy 690 megawatts of power from Constellation Energy’s Calvert Cliffs nuclear plant. This is the third nuclear power purchase agreement that Constellation Energy has made with a major technology company, following deals with Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META).

The Elmet Group Lands DLA Deal For Molybdenum and Tungsten
The Elmet Group (NASDAQ: ELMT) won a new contract from the Defense Logistics Agency worth roughly $36 million to supply molybdenum and tungsten alloys and wires to the U.S. National Defense Stockpile. The Elmet Group has publicly stated that the molybdenum and tungsten alloys they will supply will primarily be used for jet engine components and other aerospace applications.

American Battery Technology Lands Export License For Recycled Black Mass
American Battery Technology (NASDAQ: ABAT) was granted an export license for recycled black mass from the United States Department of Commerce for up to $100 million. Black mass notably contains valuable critical minerals such as nickel, lithium, cobalt and graphite which can be refined and returned to the critical minerals supply chain to be used in the manufacturing of new products.
