HSBC Is Tokenizing Shares Of Their New Physical Gold ETF

HSBC officially launched the HSBC Hybrid Gold ETF (NYSE: HGT) which gives investors exposure to physical gold bullion. This is the first time ever that HSBC has tokenized the share structure of one of their ETFs listed on a major stock exchange in the United States to allow global investors to be able to purchase exposure directly on the blockchain.

Google And Nvidia Back A Robotic Construction Company

Autonomous construction technology Bedrock Robotics raised $270 million in a new Series B financing round co-led by Google’s (NASDAQ: GOOG) venture capital arm CapitalG and the Valor Atreides AI Fund and Nvidia’s (NASDAQ: NVDA) venture capital arm. Bedrock Robotics has developed a proprietary physical hardware package that integrates with their software to upgrade existing heavy machinery such as excavators and loaders into autonomous vehicles for construction.

Cornish Metals Lands U.S. Government Funding For Tin Mine

Cornish Metals (AIM: TIN) received a letter of interest from the United States Export-Import Bank for up to $225 million in new funding to restart their South Crofty tin mine located in Cornwall, England. The project is widely considered to be the highest grade tin deposit in the world that is not currently in production.
