The New G7 Alliance For Critical Minerals And Rare Earths Is Here

The Critical Minerals Production Alliance committed $6.4 billion CAD of funding for multiple critical minerals and rare earth companies through new offtake agreements and direct equity investments. Led by Canada and including participation from all countries in the G7, the alliance is focused on reducing global dependence on China as a source of supply for both critical minerals and rare earth elements. Multiple publicly traded companies have already been selected for offtake agreements and funding commitments, including Northern Graphite (TSXV: NGC), Nouveau Monde Graphite (NYSE: NMG) and Ucore Rare Metals (TSXV: UCU).

Anduril Opens New Autonomous Underwater Ghost Shark Facility

Anduril officially began production of their Ghost Shark autonomous underwater vehicles at their new production facility located in Sydney, Australia. Anduril’s Ghost Shark vehicles are capable of operating for up to ten full days underwater and can reach depths of more than 6,000 feet to perform surveillance and intelligence missions. Kraken Robotics (TSXV: PNG) is one of the primary system and battery suppliers for the Ghost Shark.

CleanSpark Acquires Hundreds Of Acres In Texas For AI Compute

CleanSpark (NASDAQ: CLSK) acquired the rights to 271 acres of land in Austin County, Texas located near existing natural gas pipelines to develop a data centre for artificial intelligence workloads and high performance computing. CleanSpark now has a total of 1.3 gigawatts of power, land and data centres under contract in the United States.
