Energy Fuels Is Buying A Publicly Traded Australian Rare Earth Company

Energy Fuels (NYSE: UUUU) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Australian Strategic Minerals (ASX: ASM) for approximately $299 million in an all stock deal. Australian Strategic Minerals owns a flagship rare earth project in Australia and a rare earth metal and alloy processing facility located in South Korea. Energy Fuels has publicly stated that the acquisition is largely focused on developing a fully vertically integrated rare earth supply chain from mining to alloy and magnet production.

The New York Stock Exchange Is Embracing Tokenization

The New York Stock Exchange officially began developing a new platform for tokenized stocks and securities that are traded and settled directly on the blockchain. The new trading platform will leverage their proprietary Pillar electronic trading and matching engine and simultaneously shift settlement and custody to a tokenized layer.

Syntholene Energy Is Preparing To Bring Synthetic Jet Fuel To Icelandair

Syntholene Energy (TSXV: ESAF) landed an expression of interest from Icelandair to supply them with 20,000 tonnes of synthetic sustainable aviation fuel. The new potential supply deal would take place over 10 years and would see Syntholene Energy supply Icelandair with approximately 25 million litres of fuel, helping them meet previously introduced regulations from the European Union for airlines.
