Agnico Eagle Is Betting Billions On An Arctic Gold Mine

Agnico Eagle (NYSE: AEM) is investing approximately $2.4B USD to build a new gold mine at the Hope Bay project located in Nunavut. Agnico Eagle currently has two producing gold mines in Nunavut and has been operating in the province for nearly two decades, and they expect the Hope Bay project to produce roughly 400,000 ounces of gold annually once it is in full scale production.

HIVE Digital Technologies Wants To Build One Of Canada’s Largest Data Centres

HIVE Digital Technologies (NASDAQ: HIVE) publicly stated they are planning to build a 320 megawatt data centre located in the Greater Toronto Area, marking the single largest data centre that HIVE Digital Technologies has ever committed to build. The new data centre would be capable of hosting more than 100,000 GPUs at full capacity for training artificial intelligence workloads and has an expected build out cost of $3.5 billion.

Redwire Wins New Contract For Uncrewed Aerial System

Redwire (NYSE: RDW) won a new multi year contract for their Penguin Mk3 uncrewed aerial system. Redwire’s Penguin Mk3 uncrewed aerial systems are capable of carrying modular payloads on long range missions as well as performing surveillance and reconnaissance for combat purposes.
